Economy Game 2.0 - Teaching Innovation

We develop a market simulation tool (oTree, JS, HTML) enabling students to live stylized market settings.
Via a smartphone-compatible, browser based platform students trade virtual goods with their student
fellows subject to manifold market environments.
Supplementing conventional teaching, such first hand-experience opens a different route to
understanding of canonical concepts in microeconomics like consumer theory, producer theory,
partial equilibrium, general equilibrium and welfare.
